For over 100 years, Minneapolis Window Shade Company
has been serving the Twin Cities metro area, and in that time we have established a reputation for doing quality work and dealing with our customers in a fair and honest manner—we strive everyday to continue this tradition.
At our roots, we are a fabricator of quality roller shades, which was the backbone of our business for the first half of that century. Because the number of options in window coverings have exploded in the last 25 years, and while we still make our own line of roller shades, our focus now is selling a wide range of window coverings from a number of different manufacturers.
We are proud to be an authorized Hunter Douglas Dealer. We carry the full line of Hunter Douglas products, including their Alustra Collection, which is a line of exclusive, high-end fabrics and textures. We have extensive knowledge of all of their products, and we have a Hunter Douglas Master Installer on staff, so we are also experts at servicing and installing their shades and blinds.
From our original location on Olson Memorial Highway in Minneapolis in 1914 to our current location on Dakota Ave S in St. Louis Park (with stops on Nicollet Ave, Lyndale Ave, and Excelsior Blvd in between), we have taken great pride in our products and customer service. We are a family business with an extremely loyal customer base—in many cases going back generations. We serve both residential and small/medium commercial clients—whether it is one window or an entire home or building full of windows.
